We strongly value sourcing close to home, from scrap to full product, and finally to you, the customer. This way, we can establish complete transparency that every step in the supply chain is ethical. Our crafters go beyond what it means to be ethical in business in 2021. They craft and package their products in a way and with ingredients/materials that leave a significantly smaller carbon footprint than mass production, assisting with a cleaner earth for many generations to come.
Many of our crafters, being small businesses like us, still find room to give portions of their profits back to their communities. Our crafters also source their materials and staff locally, ensuring fair wages and local economic support. Our vendors handcraft their products which ensures higher-quality products than factory-made goods. These lovely, bad ass humans care about their craft. They want you to receive deodorants, lip balms and body butters that leave you expecting nothing less from your personal care line up. YaaYaa Natural - Brooklyn NY
Nicole and Alex are EXPERTS when it comes to your skin, and we aren’t just saying that! These two have Biology degrees and worked as licensed, clinical laboratory technologists in the New York health care system. Their story with Yaa Yaa began when they grew tired of the limited amount of environmentally friendly skincare options. These two know how to make a body butter that hydrates your skin to the fullest. Their main business focuses include empowering African communities by sourcing their materials directly from Africa and leaving a positive impact on the environment by using sustainable ingredients.
Lovett Sundries – Pittsburg PA
Lovett Sundries began with the creators asking one simple question... what’s in the soap we buy? This family didn’t like the answer. And thus, their hand creations began. Now they are more than capable of keeping a close eye on the ingredients that go into their products, and yours too! Lovett Sundries feature a line of handcrafted soaps, grooming, and cleaning products that are carefully measured, mixed, and packaged with their own hands. The packing and shipping materials they use are repurposed, post-consumer or recyclable (and sometimes all 3)! We love offering Lovett Sundries as one of our tried-and-true crafters.
Soap Cauldron – Sonoma County CA
We are so excited to share with you one of our vendors, Soap Cauldron, the home of Three Sisters Apothecary and Soapy Tails! Soap Cauldron has been family owned and operated in Sonoma County, CA since 1999. They hand craft a line of skin and bath products made from all-natural ingredients. Their company was founded by sisters, Pandora and Emma, and Emma’s daughter, Sabrina. Their artisan soaps and skincare are handcrafted in small batches in a centuries-old tradition with gourmet oils, butters, essential oils and botanicals. We carry their soaps, moisturizers, lip balms, bath salts, dog shampoos and more. We love Three Sisters and Soapy Tails, and we love their natural products!
